Who the heck is this?

If you have ever had the opportunity to speak to Randy then you know that some of the first words out of his mouth are usually “What’s kicking chicken”?  And with that being said, what better name could you come up with for his blog.  This is the place that you will find some of the silliest, stupidest, yet totally serious stuff that are a part of the life of a pastor.

Randy Cook is the Lead Pastor for Crossroads Community Church in Lebanon, Tennesee. He is quickly becoming known for his low key, conversational style of Bible Teaching.  Randy’s use of humor, tales from his previous life as a business owner and personal every day encounters joined with Bible teaching enables him to connect with those that many churches seemed to have forgotten or left behind.

Randy and a small group of friends felt that God was leading them to start a church in the Lebanon area that was devoted to creating environments where people could learn and grow and become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

That dream became a reality in November of 2006 when Crossroads officially opened its doors.

Randy and his wife Jenny Lee have three children, Kristin, Mallory and Alex and they live in Lebanon. Kristin works with a local company in Lebanon that specializes in international meeting planning, while Mallory is at Cumberland University and Alex is at Friendship Christian School in Lebanon. You will hardly ever visit Crossroads without seeing the whole family at work.

Randy and his family encourage you to take the time and visit them and all of the other great people at Crossroads and you can see for yourself that God is doing some great stuff!
