This past Sunday we got off to a really good start with our new series “….the END of ME”.
As many of you know. these past few months have been one of transition when it comes to our teaching series. It seems that God has been interrupting our plans with something he wants to say and that is exactly where this series came from. If you were not in attendance on Sunday then I would urge you to listen to the message on-line. We’ve been doing a great job at making our Sunday messages available the first thing on Monday. Listening on-line is also a great way to introduce Crossroads to people who you may be interested in inviting. It allows them to hear a sampling before they actually attend.
We had some really good crowds on Sunday and we’re very encouraged to see new people continuing to check out Crossroads.
Here are a few things that I notice from Sunday:
- It was great having Derrick’s team serve as the “host team” on Sunday. If you are interested in being a part of one of these teams then Derrick could use your help.
- The weather was great on Sunday. Still several people dealing with sickness but it was a great day!
- It was great having some visitors from South Caroliana….kind of found out about us from “twitter”. You never know who is watching you on the social networks.
- Rhett and the band did a great job….especially with the R.E.M song “Losing My Religion”.
- What did you think about the addition of all the lights?
- Have you given much thought to the tough things that are happening in your life right now? Maybe God has something to say….stay tuned!
- It’s encouraging to see some new people getting involved.
- If God has brought you to Crossroads then he has done it for a reason! Find out what that reason is!
- Have you turned in your baptism information?
- Do you have a baby that you would like to have dedicated?
Next Sunday is going to be a good one….make sure that you invite someone to come with you! Take them out to lunch or maybe take them to breakfast before you come. You will be glad that you did!
