Here is an abbreviated version of this weeks “Useless Friday Info”.

I guess you can say that some is better than none!

“The first graves in Arlington National Cemetery were dug by James Parks, a former Arlington Estate slave.  Buried in Section 15, James Parks is the only person buried in Arlington Cemetery who was also born on that same property.”

“In 1727, as a result of seedlings smuggled from Paris, coffee plants were cultivated in Brazil.  Brazil is presently by far the world’s largest producer of coffee.”

“Just under 500,000 babies are born each year in the U.S. to teenage mothers.”

“Giraffes are the only animals born with horns.  Both males and females are born with bony knobs on the forehead.”
