What's Kicking Chicken?

It’s about “newcomer’s”!

I blog about lots of things here.

I blog about lots of really random and sometimes pretty crazy stuff here.  But I also write down some stuff that is totally serious about my life and the life of Crossroads.

Last night we held our second “Newcomer’s Dinner” for the month of July.  Now just in case you may not understand what that is, it’s a night that we set aside and we invite people who are interested in Crossroads and maybe they would like to hear a little more about who God has called us to be.  We supply the dinner and the childcare so that people can come straight from work if needed and not have anything to worry about.

Our group last night was great.  I always enjoy hearing people’s stories and sometimes that involves a lot of the messed up stuff that happens in all of our lives.  It’s my belief that God sends people to a church for a reason and one of our goals is to help people find a place so that they can serve and do all that God has created them to do.

Maybe you attend Crossroads and you’ve never been to one of our “Newcomer’s Dinner’s”.  If that’s the case then I would urge you to sign up soon.

It’s about “newcomer’s” and it’s about helping people find the place that God longs for them to be.
