As many of you know we have some people that are part of a team that have been in the country of Honduras this week on a medical mission trip.
I just wanted to share with you an email that we received from our missionary on the ground Sam Feazel and his wife Peggy. It’s very interesting to contrast what you read here with what you find on many of the news reports.
I am certainly not suggesting that there isn’t some truth in what is being reported, it’s just that many times what you find on the news can be exaggerated.

I want to thank you all for your prayers and emails during a difficult time for the country of Honduras and give you an update on the current situation:
You may know, last week, the President of Honduras was ejected from power by the military forces authorized by the Congress. Our ex-President, Mel Zelaya, was trying to push a vote to the people that would allow a second term for the President. This action was under the influence and encouragement of Hugo Chavez, communist president of Venezuela. This is the EXACT path that He used to overthrow the government and head them into communism. The people of Honduras have revolted and ejected Mel Zelaya. Every day here in Honduras, we are having rallies to celebrate the new Government.
We are completely safe and in NO danger. God has always protected us and will continue to do so..We are NOT patriots! If I feel as though we are in any danger, we will be on the next flight out. There is no reason for concern at this point.
We presently have a team here and this week have seen hundreds of people come to know the Lord!
