You are so funny.....and one of my favorite people on the net.

I have to tell you that I have a friend who says the same thing....she will call anyone out on making fun of people who are challenged with their weight!

Don't ever make fun of anyone for being fat. Trust me on this one. It took surgery and my insurance $30k to get back to normal. (Watch out for those evil but yummy cupcakes!)

Uh, do I by chance know this person who is a "good bit" older than you? Is it the guy I see in the mirror when I can stand to look there? : ) Just wondering.

Every time I go to a presentation (which is a lot), I make jokes about speakers who can't be heard (we don't work with a mic at Vanderbilt unless it's a big speaking gig) - you know, the ones you have to lean forward and strain to hear? I'm always the one in the crowd who raises my hand and makes a comment. I've never had that problem in my life, so I guess I've never related to it. This week I went to an advanced speakers class and we had to make an impromtu one minute speech. The audience loved mine - except for the fact that EVERYONE said the volume was so low they could not hear it well. Forty people, right in my face! I had no clue - thought I was projecting just fine. Okay, I thought, I get it - I'll never make fun of soft spoken speakers again!
