This morning on the way to the office I stopped to get some gas.
Nothing exciting. Just wanted to stop and top off my tank before I headed to Nashville later this morning.
There I was….all by myself in my own little world. I put in my “Kroger Plus” number and then my bank card and I was free to pump the gas grade of my own choosing.
And then from out of no where came this face and a voice…..it was like she jumped out from behind my gas pump!
“What did you think about the President’s speech?‘ she squealed….and yes it was a squealy little voice.
I had to respond. I had to say something. But actually I didn’t see the speech. The only thing I saw were snippets on the news this morning.
“I thought he looked full of enthusiasm” I said. It was all I truthfully could say. I hadn’t seen the speech, but what I did see in the snippets this morning was just what I conveyed to her.
So my question this morning is this. What did you think of President Obama’s speech?
