It was that good!

Today at lunch I experienced one of the best pieces of chicken I have every experienced.

When my plate arrived I looked at this amazing piece of chicken and immediately knew that it was going to be good.  It had all the appearances of a great piece of bone-in chicken and to make it better it was white meat (my favorite).

I cut it carefully with my knife trying to pry away the meat from the bone.  As I continued to eat I noticed that this huge piece of chicken was in fact boneless.  There was no bone in it.

Funny!  Things aren’t always as they appear.  Things aren’t always exactly the way I think they are.  Funny!  I was able to enjoy the whole stinking thing!

It was that good!

Two on Tuesday

Today has been a really great day!

I always love it when I get a lot done.

Well as you know it’s Tuesday and that means that we look for a couple of light hearted things that really didn’t go like I wanted.

Here are today’s disappointments:

• The caffeine simply hasn’t done it’s job today.  I have had the hardest time staying awake.  Maybe I need to become a coffee drinker like the rest of this country!
• This next disappointment comes more in the form of a frustration.  I’ve been checking my email all day only to find it says I have “one” email and it simply isn’t there.  I have searched and searched.  It makes me feel like someone is messing with me.  Maybe it’s the official notification of the four million dollars that someone is transferring to my bank account from Kenya!
