Two on Tuesday

One of the simple things that happens on Tuesday is my simple ability to convey a couple of light hearted disappointments that have happened to me during the course of my day.

Today is just like all the other Tuesday’s, it seems to have it’s share of opportunities to disappoint.

Here are a couple that stand out:

• Don’t always judge a vegetable by the way it looks…..or are white beans a veggie?  Well anyway, I went to lunch and they brought me a bowl of white beans that looked to be warm at best.  Not until I placed them in my mouth would I discover that they were off the hook “hot”!  Needless to say, I burned my tongue!
• Why is it that when you have your mind on something specific you can never find it.  That’s my luck today….looking for a pair of Van’s and no one it town has what I need!

It’s really hard to believe!

I am lucky to pastor a great church.

It’s hard for me to believe that we will celebrate our 2nd anniversary this Wednesday.

I have to admit that it actually feels like we’ve been doing it just a few months.

I just want to take a minute and thank you guys that have helped us make it happen.  Thanks for jumping in and joining us in the amazing thing that God has called us to do.

The days ahead are going to be fun….they’re going to be hard and long sometimes, but they will be fun.
