My life at one time was very different.
The most important thing to me was making money.
I could hardly wait for the list of the world’s richest people to come out each year. Every year I loved reading how people were making money and just how much they were worth.
Now I see things from a whole different perspective. I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with people making lots of money or having lots of things but I often wonder what we could do if we changed our thinking on what it means to truly think about others first.
Many times I have people say to me, “If God would just let me win the lottery I would use it to help out other people.” But their current lives tell a very different story. If God can’t trust you with what you have now, how can he trust you with any more?
As followers of Christ we have to remember that it’s always about putting others first!
