The first thing I usually do every morning is check several Internet news sites.
This past week I ran across this picture of what is now the tallest building in the world. It’s located in the oil rich nation of Dubai.
As I glanced through the article there was detail about the progress of the building. It seems that with the recent surge in oil prices a lot of the middle east countries are taking on some really aggressive building projects like this.
But there was one thing that stood out in this article.
One of the things that was delaying the progress of the building was the lack of skilled workers and a shortage of certain building products.
As I read I couldn’t help but think about what we are seeing happen at Crossroads.
We’ve been seeing God do some amazing things, but one of the things that could end up holding us back is the lack of people being obedient to what God is calling them to do. Simply put that means that God has brought, is bringing and will bring people to Crossroads to contribute, not to just sit in a seat and soak it up and then leave each week. He has brought us all here to give our time, talents and treasure (that means money).
What an opportunity. What an impact we can make.
