Sunday was one unbelievable day at Crossroads. It was a day that was absolutely packed full of things to do from my end.
We started of the day with our two regular services. Then we moved to our “Newcomer’s Luncheon” where the attendance was actually more than I had expected. Then we finished off the day with a time of communion on Sunday evening. It was one heck of a day and I might say that I was glad when it was all over…….I couldn’t have gotten many more words out….my brain was mush.
Here are a few highlights from Sunday:
- Melissa knocked it out of the park with the opener!
- Mike knocked it out of the park after knocking Carl’s guitar out of tune…..only Mike could do that! (I bet you didn’t even see what happened did you?)
- We had great attendance at the Newcomer’s Luncheon considering so many are out of town on vacation
- This series evidently is hitting home with a lot of people
- Yes, the parking lot is still a mess
- Some people actually turned in their “Higher” commitment cards…imagine that!
- Special thanks to those who covered for those who are volunteers and were MIA
