Two on Tuesday….

Starting a new thing here on the blog on Tuesdays.

One of the things that life deals us all the time is disappointment.  So what I aim to do is to try and remember every Tuesday to give you a couple of things (from a somewhat off the wall perspective) that have brought me disappointment up to that point in my day.

Here’s the first two:

• no tomatoes at Subway…I guess that beats the heck out of salmonella.
• gas price today finally reached $4.00 in Lebanon.

Looks like a non-issue

I have already been amazed at how many people are still going places this summer.   Really, I can’t believe how many people don’t appear to be cutting back in the least.

I guess my conclusion was that with the gas prices going up like they have, it would really curtail all the long vacations simply because of the cost.

So I really would like to hear from you guys.  Are the gas prices curtailing your going places?  What changes have you had to make if any?  And then the real kicker……how in the heck are you budgeting this huge increase as it relates to the cost of gasoline? 

I really would like to know what you’re doing to fit these increased fuel costs into your budget.
