Do you read your Bible?

I have found that a lot of Christians don’t. There are a lot of reasons that they will throw at you as to why they don’t. Some of us have bought into the lie that you don’t understand it. Some of us have bought in to the lie that it’s not applicable to your life today. Some of us believe that it’s just an old book of stories that really isn’t relevant to your life.

If you have your Bible with you while you’re reading this then I want you to pick it up and turn to the book of Proverbs. Pick a chapter, any chapter. Read what you find in any of those chapters and tell me that it’s not relevant to your life.

It’s so relevant that I make sure and try to read at least one chapter of it every day. I try to include one chapter of Proverbs in the time that I spend alone with God every day. Now that will not be all that I read, but I make sure and read one chapter of Proverbs because its so applicable to my daily life. It has so much potential to impact my life
