“Round-table Reflections Episode 2″

Ok, so I know that I should have gotten back here a little quicker and given you some more info on last weeks meeting.

I have to admit that I went into the meeting with a little bit of hesitancy. I really didn’t know all the people that would be attending so any time that I am out of my comfort zone I get a little uneasy. One of the great things about the meeting is that it was held at one of the greatest churches in the Nashville area. I love what Pete and his team have done at Cross Point….they are amazing!  Pete is a great communicator, a great Pastor and an even greater friend.  One day in the future we can get into more of what Pete and his family have meant to the life of my family and our church.  The fact that the meeting was at his church made me feel at home.

When you meet a bunch of guys who plant churches you are always going to hear some great stories and these guys were full of them. I have to say that it’s great just hearing what God is doing all around our area.  When you listen to some of the stories we heard it just really pumps you up.  You could’t have left this meeting without feeling good about what God had called you to do.
Gary Lamb came up from Canton, Georgia and this was my first opportunity to meet him. He is the Pastor of Revolution Church right in Canton. Gary has a huge heart for church planters and the fact that he would come and share meant a ton to me. He is so full of energy! I am looking forward to getting with Gary again soon…..he is my kind of guy.
