I was scratching my head on Sunday and when I did I realized that there was a place at the very top of my head that was sore, really, really sore!
I had no idea what had happened……Did I hit my head on something? Did someone hit me over the head with a pipe? Maybe someone threw something at me during the service.
As Arnold Schwarzenegger said, “I hope it’s not a tumah!”
This is hilarious! And this guy is really brave to be driving this thing with shorts and no shirt. If he was to hit the pavement it would be……..well I think you get it!
Ok it’s Monday and this Monday surely has to be better than last Monday. If you remember last Monday was the day that I spent with my wife in the doctors office and it happened almost at the drop of a hat.
Sunday (03/02) at Crossroads was again another great day. I was glad to see the weather warm up some and man did we see some new people. The first service was off just a little but that should have been expected since we had most of our middle and high school students out on the Winter Retreat. And speaking of the Winter Retreat, I heard that they had a really great time. They arrived safely back at the church just as the second service was ending. Thanks to Chris and all the volunteers for making the retreat a huge success.
Here are some highlights from Sunday…
Great job again by all of our volunteers who make our visitors feel right at home
You guys are doing a great job at inviting people. What I need you to do….is just keep doing it!!!!
Word of mouth is where it’s at!
I love it when a man can goof up like I did and you guys just roll with it…..here’s the deal. Yesterday during the message I was supposed to say “Ancient Hebrew Rabbi”…..and instead I said, “Ancient Hebrew Ribeye!” The place almost went crazy.
I had read my notes a hundred times and that word never came out like that.
Mike Cowart did another great job of leading us in worship.
Tons of new visitors.
Many of you signed up to help on Easter and let me say “Thanks” but we are going to need more!!!!
Parking lot was slammed! Need you regular attenders to begin parking up towards the entrance.
I love it when you have so many people that you have to turn on the a/c.
